Greenstar gazed at the kit with worry. Hollykit looked very worn out. He bent down to where the kit slept and kicked ever so gently on Hollykits head. Greenstar looked over ant Copperkit and Patchkit sleeping cozily in their nests. He stood with such grace and leaned in towards Cloverleaf.
"I am worried about this kit but do not expect the worse right now. I know she seems tiered and growing slowly but you don't have to be alone with care for this kit you have Copperkit and Patchkit to help you." Greenstar reassured Cloverleaf.
"If it will help I can have Moonsrtipe keep an extra eye on her?" Greenstar offered.
He glanced down again at Hollykit and felt the strength flowing off her. The struggle this kit was going though was almost over. Soon this kit will be health and playing with the other kits. Her courage made him smile and he leaned once more to lick her head.
"Just keep that courage up little one...I can feel your future and it is GREAT!" Greenstar whispered into the kits ear.
"We all have faith in you!" Greenstar finished as he stood up.
He leaned over to Cloverleaf and nudged up to her cheek and whispered with such love....."Your love will keep her alive. Don't stop praying!"
He backed up nodded and turned to leave the den.
Patchkit whispered to Copperkit...
"I can't hear anything!!!"
....
"Copperkit!! I can't hear a thing! Hey are you awake?" Patchkit whispered again
....
"Great!!! some spy you are Copperkit!" Patchkit warned as she nudged her sister. Silly soft snores began to emerge from Copperkit's direction.
"Next time I get to chose were we spy from"[/color] Patchkit mumbled her to herself. She felt foggy and disoriented from all the petty anger, with in seconds Patchkit had joined her sister in a deep slumber.
