Applepaw dashed into the warriors den. She collapsed next to Frostwind, panting from her long dash to get here. "Frostwind, you need to get up." She pleaded to the white warrior. "Ashstar says if you don't, she'll claw your fur off."

"The mouse will eat you alive, run before it gets you!" Came the reply from the white warrior. Oh yes, he was once again dreaming of food. This particular dream had a mouse that was bigger than a tree attacking the clan. Frostwind was doing his best to try and eat it before it ate the clan.
He was laying on his back, all four paws in the air, swinging at the invisible mouse.
When the apprentice came into the den and started to speak, he didn't hear her. He only heard the mouse talking, it saying something about a bird. "The bird is not of your concern! Leave or I will have to eat you!" he murmered, licking all around his mouth.

Applepaw sighed exasperatedly. Only Frostwind would continue dreaming of freshkill in a time like this! She thought. "FROSTWIND!" She yowled, not caring who else woke up. She had orders from Ashstar. "IF YOU DON'T GET UP THIS INSTANt ASHSTSTAR WILL EAT YOU ALIVE! IVYPAW AND LOTUSPAW ARE IN DANGER AND ASHSTAR NEEDS BACKUP!" She yowled. After her long rant, she was left panting and out of breath. It wasn't like Applepaw to blow up like that, but she could feel that her sister was in danger, which meant Lotuspaw probably was too.

Frostwind jumped and ran to the back of the den, skidding along. His emerald eyes glanced at Applepaw. Did she just seriously yell right beside him? What was with apprentices these days, did they not understand that he liked to sleep late?
"And why would my sister want to eat me alive?" he wondered aloud.
"Backup, slow down. What is going on?" he asked, yawning. The only reason he wasn't ranting at her about waking him up, is the mentioning of Ashstar's name. Surely she wouldn't have sent someone to wake him up unless it was life or death. "How are Ivypaw and Lotuspaw in danger?" he composed himself.

"I think it's a fox." Applepaw answered. She wasn't sure how she knew this, possibly by her connection with Ivypaw (They're just tight like that, lol). "We need to hurry! They need backup if it's a fox!"

Frostwind's eyes widened at the mentioning of a fox. Did she really just say a fox. "I pray to StarClan it isn't." he muttered. "Not again."
He nodded at the apprentices words. "You are right, if it is a fox we do need to hurry. When we get there, I do not want you to fight, though. I want you to see if your sister or Lotuspaw has any injuries. That way we know if you guys do have to fight, we can accomadate those injuries. I don't want them to hurt themselves anymore, and I'm sure my sister would agree with me."
The tom let out a deep sigh. "You lead the way." he added.
